How to purify crystals

Why Purify Crystals
Crystals must be purified daily if we use them in a crystal therapy session or if we wear them, since they come into contact with and protect us from negative vibrations ("live" energies), which we can unconsciously absorb from the environment or from the people around us. The symptoms that are felt when handling a crystal that needs purification are a feeling of malaise, dizziness, headache, anguish, restlessness, irritability, a sense of tightness in the chest, nausea, strongly negative thoughts, a feeling of being crushed by negativity. Of course, it is not certain that all the symptoms will manifest themselves, usually the most common symptoms are: generalized feeling of malaise, dizziness or dizziness and they disappear after purifying the crystal in question.
How to purify stones and crystals
There are various methods for purifying stones, most of which are harmful to them in the long run. We often read highly questionable indications, which in addition to not purifying the crystals, risk damaging their structure. The purification methods indicated have been verified by the Bovis biometer.
Purification with Salt (Very Effective)
A very effective and invasive method , which erases all the information, energies and programming (we will see later) of a crystal, eliminating its energies and making it similar to a "blank page" . This purification method is recommended when we purchase a new stone or when we feel strong discomfort in contact with it ; We don't know what energies it has stored or who has touched it, so we limit interaction as much as possible until we have purified it. To purify a crystal with salt, we use a coffee saucer and a glass (or glass container) in which we will place the crystal (direct contact with salt can damage the crystal). It is not necessary to use large quantities of salt. The glass allows the vibrations to be discharged into the salt , which in the meantime will imprison the negative vibrations within itself ; after purifying the stones, we dissolve the salt in the sink avoiding reusing it for other crystals (especially if it was the first time we purified that stone). We use glass and not plastic because it is not a suitable material, as it does not allow the passage of energy, like wool, rubber and silk. Salt tends to emit a peculiar form of energy field that captures heavy and harmful energies ; it is preferable to use coarse sea salt and leave the stone to drain as indicated for 2 hours . We do not recommend exceeding 2 hours so as not to compromise the energy footprint of the stone .
You should not purify with salt (direct contact):
Actinolite, Blue Lace Agate, Amber, Angelite, Antimonite, Apatite, Apophyllite, Aragonite, Astrophyllite, Azurite, Azurite-Malachite, Biotite, Blenda, Boji, Bronzite, Chalcedony, Calcite, Chalcopyrite, Cassiterite, Cavansite, Celestina, Kyanite, Cyaroite , Cinnabar, Copal, Covellina, Chrysocolla, Chrysoprase, Danburite, Jasper, Red, Jasper, Landscape, Dioptase, Dolomite, Epidote, Aegirine, Heliotrope, Hematite, Hemimorphite, Erythrite, Fluorite, Fuchsite, Gaietto, Jade, Hypersthene, Iddenite, Kunzite , Labradorite, Lapis Lazuli, Larimar, Lepidolite, Magnesite, Magnetite, Malachite-Chrysocolla, Malachite, Moqui, Marbles, Marquesite, Tektites, (Meteorites), Moldavite, Morganite, Bull's Eye, Hawk's Eye, Ferrous Tiger's Eye, Eye, Di, Tiger, Fire Opal, Opal, Pietersite, Petalite, Sunstone, Moonstone, Realgar, Pyrite, Rhodochrosite, Serafinite, Stilbite, Staurolite, Smithsonite, Selenite, Tourmaline, Turquoise, Unakite, Vanadite, Variscite, Sulfur
Purification with Water (Effective)
Purification with water is suitable for crystals that have come into contact with light and low-polluting energies , which have been exposed in crowded environments without direct contact or to discharge them at the end of the day . Water can ruin some crystals, while all quartz can be rinsed for a few minutes under tap water, which must always be very cold (never hot, as it is extremely harmful to the crystals).
Don't use soap on crystals!
It is also possible to use Diamond Water or water from places of worship imbued with positive energies , in which case the purifying effect will be significantly amplified.
Opal is the only stone that must be constantly immersed in cold demineralized water (hot water ruins it), so that it keeps its physical structure intact. To purify the stones, just one minute under a medium-low jet of water is enough (however, as previously indicated, purification is suitable for slightly polluted stones).
You don't need to purify with water :
Actinolite, Blue Lace Agate, Amber, Angelite, Antimonite, Apatite, Apophyllite, Aragonite, Astrophyllite, Azurite, Azurite-Malachite, Biotite, Blenda, Boji, Bronzite, Chalcedony, Calcite, Chalcopyrite, Cassiterite, Cavansite, Celestina, Kyanite, Cyaroite , Cinnabar, Copal, Covellina, Chrysocolla, Chrysoprase, Danburite, Jasper, Red, Jasper, Landscape, Dioptase, Dolomite, Epidote, Aegirine, Heliotrope, Hematite, Hemimorphite, Erythrite, Fluorite, Fuchsite, Gaietto, Jade, Hypersthene, Iddenite, Kunzite , Labradorite, Lapis Lazuli, Larimar, Lepidolite, Magnesite, Magnetite, Malachite-Chrysocolla, Malachite, Moqui, Marbles, Marquesite, Tektites, (Meteorites), Moldavite, Morganite, Bull's Eye, Hawk's Eye, Ferrous Tiger's Eye, Eye, Di, Tiger, Fire Opal, Opal, Pietersite, Petalite, Sunstone, Moonstone, Realgar, Pyrite, Rhodochrosite, Serafinite, Stilbite, Staurolite, Smithsonite, Selenite, Tourmaline, Turquoise, Unakite, Vanadite, Variscite, Sulfur
Purification with Earth (Effective)
It is one of the best methods, as it purifies and recharges the stones at the same time : place the stone on dry ground ( do not bury it ) in a vase or, even better, a garden in which there are plants (roses are particularly suitable as they are particularly indicated against negativity thanks to the thorns). It is a procedure to be avoided if a plant is sick or thin , as if it is already debilitated or if the stone is too full of negative energies, it can suffer a strong backlash which can lead it to die quickly.
Although the earth is very slow in purification, if the stone is not seriously compromised, 5.5/6 hours are needed to purify and regenerate it completely. When purifying or recharging a stone with earth, you must then proceed with the activation : for this it will be enough to hold it in your hand for a minute, since the earth makes the stone "stunned" and will not immediately resonate with our vibration. After holding it in contact with your hand it will awaken with the imprinting of our vibration.
The only contraindication may be the possibility of the crystal becoming dirty with earth. Also for this reason some stones are reported as not suitable for direct contact with the earth: if you have a stone that you don't want to get dirty, place it in a natural fabric bag before placing it on the ground.
You must not purify with earth (direct contact):
Blue Lace Agate, Angelite, Azurite, Azurite-Malachite, Chalcedony, Calcite, Chalcopyrite, Celestina, Fluorite, Malachite, Malachite-Chrysocolla, Rhodochrosite, Selenite, Turquoise
Purification with Incense (Blando)
You can use sandalwood incense to purify crystals. You need to hold the crystal in your hand while turning it so that all sides of the crystal are evenly exposed to the swirls of incense.
Instead of sandalwood incense, white sage can also be used, which is more purifying than the incense found on the market, known and used by Native Americans to purify the energetic bodies. Purchased incense does not provide deep purification; to obtain better results you need to use a natural incense. Alternatively, Eritrean papers can be purchased in herbalist shops, which are particularly suitable for purifying environments.
It is not necessary to purify with incense:
Amber, Azurite, Azurite-Malachite, Coppale, Lapis Lazuli, Malachite-Chrysocolla, Malachite, Turquoise
Purification with Bach Flowers (Effective)
Purification with Bach Flowers represents another effective purification method: we put 2 – 3 drops of Rescue Remedy or Crab Apple on the stone in question (unless it is one of the stones not to be treated with water).
You should not purify with Bach flowers:
Actinolite, Blue Lace Agate, Amber, Angelite, Antimonite, Apatite, Apophyllite, Aragonite, Astrophyllite, Azurite, Azurite-Malachite, Biotite, Blenda, Boji, Bronzite, Chalcedony, Calcite, Chalcopyrite, Cassiterite, Cavansite, Celestina, Kyanite, Cyaroite , Cinnabar, Copal, Covellina, Chrysocolla, Chrysoprase, Danburite, Jasper, Red, Jasper, Landscape, Dioptase, Dolomite, Epidote, Aegirine, Heliotrope, Hematite, Hemimorphite, Erythrite, Fluorite, Fuchsite, Gaietto, Jade, Hypersthene, Iddenite, Kunzite , Labradorite, Lapis Lazuli, Larimar, Lepidolite, Magnesite, Magnetite, Malachite-Chrysocolla, Malachite, Moqui, Marbles, Marquesite, Tektites, (Meteorites), Moldavite, Morganite, Bull's Eye, Hawk's Eye, Ferrous Tiger's Eye, Eye, Di, Tiger, Fire Opal, Opal, Pietersite, Petalite, Sunstone, Moonstone, Realgar, Pyrite, Rhodochrosite, Serafinite, Stilbite, Staurolite, Smithsonite, Selenite, Tourmaline, Turquoise, Unakite, Vanadite, Variscite, Sulfur
Purification with Green Clay (Very Effective)
It represents a very valid purification method and an excellent alternative to salt: even just an hour is enough to achieve a good level of cleanliness. Ventilated green clay is available in herbalist shops . Thanks to its absorbent power , this wonderful natural tool will purify our crystals . We pour the ventilated green clay into a dry earthenware, wooden or glass container and place the stone on top, after protecting it with a white cotton cloth. Then let it rest for a few hours or a whole night. If we place the bag containing the stone on top of the clay, we turn it on its side after a few hours, while if we immerse it completely we won't have to turn it. In fact, the clay tends to purify only the side of the stone in contact with the fabric in which it is preserved .
The same clay can be used a couple of times at most, after which it should be thrown into the ground, avoiding pouring it into the bathroom fixtures.
You should not purify with green clay (direct contact):
Blue Lace Agate, Angelite, Azurite, Azurite-Malachite, Chalcedony, Calcite, Chalcopyrite, Celestina, Fluorite, Malachite, Malachite-Chrysocolla, Rhodochrosite, Selenite, Tourmaline, Turquoise
Purification with Amethyst Drusa (Effective)
While it is perfect for recharging any type of crystal , the Amethyst druse is only indicated for the purification of slightly polluted crystals . It is in fact a valid method, but milder than purification with earth, clay or salt. If you want to use the Amethyst druse, lay the crystal on its tips for at least 4 hours . Usually the druse have a part where larger crystals have formed: do not cover this area , because through this area the druse continues to emit energy to rebalance itself. Amethyst druses are capable of purifying and regenerating themselves , just leave them isolated for a few days. Alternatively, it is possible to purify it with running tap water and recharge it by pointing 4 hyaline quartz tips oriented towards the druse, arranged according to the 4 cardinal directions.
